What is Squidoo?

Squidoo is a top rated authority site that you can use to create quality back links to your own site. This free marketing tool allows anyone to quickly and easily make their own web pages, or Lenses, even if they have no idea how to build a website.

Google gives Squidoo a high ranking which means when people search for something on Google, and you have a page on Squidoo about what they’re searching for, you could get listed on the first page of the Google’s search results. How cool is that?

Here’s a few tips for creating a Squidoo Lens:

Choose a user name that’s related to your Niche
When creating your Lens use your main Key Word phrases when describing what your page is about
Your Title and Lens URL should also include your main Key Word phrase
Add images.  Search engines like multi-media content!
Include a hyper link back to your site in your description
Use your main Key Words in your image labels and create hyper links back to your site in images too
Include an RSS feed module that links back to your Blog
Choose “include excerpt” or “no excerpt” rather than “everything available”
Choose “no HTML” as it can effect the formatting of your Lens
Be sure to test your links before you “Publish” your Lens
